Responsibilities:
- Offline/online edit live action narratives.
- Offline/online edit documentary.
- Edit mixed animation and graphics, including screen capture.
- Design graphics, lower thirds.
- Encoding to proper formats and forums.
- Duplication and ingest multiple analog and digital media.
- Record and mix voice over with music.
- Basic sound design.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2- years experience NLE editing, preferably with Final Cut Pro. Familiarity of Adobe Premiere a plus.
- Strong online finishing skills.
- Requisite After Effects knowledge: keying, compositing, and tracking.
- Fine eye for the consequences of compression and the knowledge for how to get the most out of encoding.
- Know encoding standards, protocols, and specific settings and templates for most popular formats.
- Requisite Pro Tools knowledge: live recording, mixing, sound and music editing.
- On location recording for dual system capture.
- Music composition a plus.
- Organized to standards of house conformity.
- Attention to the finest details.
- Strong storytelling inclinations.
