Position Description:
A Motion Graphics Artist is a team player who is passionate about great design and animation. He or she works closely with the creative director and other team members to execute a creative approach to animation and visual effects projects. He or she displays strong artistic aptitude with an exceptional sense of design and a clear interest in motion graphics and related technology. He or she delivers quality results under high pressure deadlines, and attention to detail combined with a strong working knowledge of design-related applications is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Designing and producing animation that meets or exceeds strategic objectives
- Designing mood boards, storyboards, animation concepts, and motion for audio and tempo, including music and voiceover
- Providing quality assurance on creative deliverables
- Building and maintaining rapport with team personnel and project managers.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years education or 3 years motion design work experience
- Ability to articulate creative ideas
- Aptitude for quick creative thinking and attention to detail
- Passion for design and eagerness to collaborate
- Advance knowledge of After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Cinema 4d
- Moderate knowledge of FCP and Mac OS
- Must be self-motivated, able to multi-task and work well with others and as part of a team.
