Responsibilities:
- Offline/online edit live action narratives.
- Offline/online edit documentary.
- Edit mixed animation and graphics, including screen capture.
- Design graphics, lower thirds, assist with motion graphics projects.
- Encoding to proper formats and forums.
- Duplication and ingest multiple analog and digital media.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2- years experience NLE editing, preferably with Final Cut Pro. Familiarity of Adobe Premiere and RED camera post.
- Strong online finishing skills.
- Color correction and grading.
- On set editing experience.
- Requisite After Effects knowledge: keying, compositing, tracking and basic animation.
- Fine eye for the consequences of compression and the knowledge for how to get the most out of encoding.
- Know encoding standards, protocols, and specific settings and templates for most popular formats.
- Organized to standards of house conformity.
- Attention to the finest details.
- Strong storytelling inclinations.
- Passionate about the craft of filmmaking and the technology that drives innovation.
